1. Sometimes, when the days don't quit
2. Harsh times, lean back and play this
3. This hard rhymes...I know they like this
4. But... I need a Day Like This
5. Sometimes, when ya days don't quit
6. Harsh times, Lean back and play this
7. These hard rhymes, Don't know if they like this
8. But…sometimes I need a day like this
(Verse 1)
1. We In New york New york, always one on the news
2. Where I just heard a father threw his son off the roof
3. ...While most kids getting high for something to do
4. I’m watching actors getting killed without a camera to shoot!?
5. But This the 21st century…so everything is public now
6. And even if you leader we might need'a shut ya down
7. We got some independents on for the whole town
8. And still can't hold us back from the background
9. I've watched best friends turn into less friends
10. I’ve seen some paths that I've taken turn to dead ends
11. Seen rappers this close turn to lesbians
12. No balls, so please pardon the questions
13. (And)So much stress…all on my mind
14. Could be an artist inside or be an artist in line
15. But I’m, what they waiting on and praying on
16. So we gonna’ shine together, let’s keep playing on

4. Not that demeanor that my team is trying to change you
5. We ain't you, but we are what you listen to
6. So while I got the chance, I'm rapping and I listen too
7. I know different dudes, do what the fishes do
8. Some thirsty motherf****rs acting like it's mountain dew
9. (So tell me how) How could I make a million dollars
10. Ya’ll kicks are turning kids away from the colleges
11. No knots just gonna' drop where the knowledge is
12. This here some hard work and that’s your problem kid
13. So call it quits if you not calling shots
14. No problem, get your pager man and call it off
15. Feel like you raw enough, well let me talk you up
16. Let me tell you about some schemes I was chalking up
17. Let me show you to the boardroom that brought me up
18. Let me get you on the phone for them to call you up
19. Baby it’s all above, maybe I’ll set you up
20. Maybe you think its all set up stead of what you love
21. But when it’s getting plugged, I’mma come for all of you
