Never Knew You Lyrics by Rootjoose

Rhubarb

0

I see your reflection in the double glazing
I see you separated like two different souls
I see you both stand in the bedroom here beside me
I see you looking like a stray in borrowed clothes
Look at me with my fucked-up Doctor Martens
Look at me with smoke in my eyes
Look at me with my sentimental bullshit
You know I never wanted to say...
Chorus
I feel as if I never knew you
I wish I wasn't talking through you at all
I feel as if I never knew you
Feel as if I never knew
I am weak when I think of how confusing it became
I cry when I realise I've got myself to blame
I know we weren't exactly John and Yoko
But I still see your face in the sink when I clean my teeth
Look at me with my brand new pair of boots on
Look at me with needles in my eyes
Look at me with my P.M.A. bullshit
You knew I never wanted to say...
I feel as if I never knew you
I wish I wasn't talking through you at all
I feel as if I never knew you
Feel as if I never knew
I feel as if I never knew you
And I wish I wasn't talking through you at all
I feel I never knew you
I wish I never knew
