Struggle Lyrics by Roots of Creation

Livin Free

2016

[Verse 1]
Sometimes I wish I was a DJ
Get on stage, let the space bar play
Lord knows I know how to RoCk a crowd
Crank the vibe up
Turn the music loud
Cut the line when I walk up to the club
Shots poured
Promoter show me love
See the kids jumpin’ up and down
Bass shake the floor
Everybody get down
[Pre-Chorus]
Now that I’ve laid it on the line
We’ll be doin’ fine
We’ll have to face reality
No more fantasy and…
[Chorus]
Struggle, Struggle
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
Gon’ keep on pushin’ an’
[Verse 2]
Sometimes I wish I worked a 9 to 5
Sad thing still struggle just to stay alive
Maybe I’d make my Daddy proud
If I’d play it safe instead of RoCkin’ a crowd
Do what you love you won’t work a day
Isn’t that what all the wise men say?
Do or do not there is no try
Grass is always greener on the other side
[Pre-Chorus]
Now that I’ve laid it on the line
We’ll be doin’ fine
We’ll have to face reality
No more fantasy and…
[Chorus]
Struggle, Struggle
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
[Bridge]
Maybe I won’t stop the violence
But maybe I can stop this silence
That’s killin' you softly
You feel so alone
And I’ll take care of you
The beat will carry us through
Hills and Valleys guide us to the truth
And I got something better
Than fast cars and getting cheddar
Original works & original words
[Pre-Chorus]
Now that I’ve laid it on the line
We’ll be doin’ fine
We’ll have to face reality
No more fantasy and…
[Chorus]
Struggle, Struggle
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
Struggle, Struggle
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
Keep on Struggle Strugglin’
