I Will Hold On Lyrics by Russ Mohr

The Kingdom Sessions

2019

[Intro]
Oh, mm-mm
I will hold on, yeah
Forever and ever
I will, I will hold on
I will hold on
I will hold on
Forever now
[Verse 1: Russ Mohr]
In the beginning
Lord, You promised
You would redeem all things (You would redeem all things)
All of the lies that we're spoken
All of the trust that was broken
All of our debts repaid (All of our debts repaid)
[Chorus: Both]
So I will hold on
To Your promises
I will hold on
To Your promises
I will hold on
To Your promises
Forever and amen
Forever and amen
[Verse 2: Liz Vice]
Through Your Spirit
Lord, You promised
You'll never leave me (You'll never leave me)
So with Your hands I am reaching
With Your words I am speaking
Lord, come and fill me (Lord, come and fill me)
[Chorus: Both]
And I will hold on
To Your promises
I will hold on
To Your promises
I will hold on
To Your promises
Forever and amen (Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh)
Forever and amen (Yea-eah)
[Bridge: Russ Mohr, Liz Vice]
And when that day comes
Lord, You promised
You're making all thing new (You're making all thing new)
No more nations divided
And Your Kingdom united
Forever we'll reign with You (Forever)
[Chorus: Both]
So I will hold on
To Your promises
I will hold on
To Your promises
I will hold on
To Your promises
Forever and amen
Forever and amen
[Outro: Both]
'Cause I know You're working
Working for my good (For my good) (Oh-oh-oh-oh)
You are working all things (You're working all things) (For my good)
You are working all things (You're working all things) (For my good)
You are working all things (All things, so I count it all joy) (For my good)
So I count it all joy (Count it all joy)
I count it all joy (Said, I count it all joy) (Count it all joy)
Oh, I count it all joy (Count it all joy)
Forever and amen
Forever and amen
Forever and amen (Said [?])
Forever and amen
Forever and amen
