Cinema Blues Lyrics by Sam Edwards

2019

[Verse 1 - Morgan Hockey]
We enter a legitimate cinema
This young boy named Sam wanted to watch a film
He didn’t ask for a particular ticket
So the guy was like - I know what you need
It was spider boy, spider boy two was the film of choice
But he didn’t have snacks so he was dragged right back
The guy was like - you need a snack or two
But he said - nah, nah, nah
[Verse 2 - Morgan Hockey]
He fucking bailed but he dropped his ticket in the process
So he bent down for the ticket, and what happened next?
Bang
The crisps popped, he fucking ran (hee hee)
And down the crisps went on the floor
[Chorus - Sam Edwards]
Cinema blues
Cinema blues
Sneaky snacks
Cinema blues
[Verse 3 - Morgan Hockey]
Meanwhile, in Legitimate Cinema
Middle-aged guy named Jon wanted to watch a flick
He was certain of the flick he needed
It was Bridesmaids 3, that's what he wants
What a virgin he is with some big old tee tees
Dangle down from that chest
He didn't ask for a snack or two
He wanted 50 or maybe more, more, fucking more
[Verse 4 - Sam Edwards]
He fucking bailed on those snacks cos he snuck in a mil
He started munching but what happened next
Bang
The diabetes killed his heart, hee hee
Then Jon died with a shart
[Chorus - Both]
Cinema Blues
Cinema Blues
Sneaky Snacks
Cinema Blues
Cinema Blues
Who do you choose
Jonny boy or Sammy wam
Cinema Blues
Ooooohhhhh
