Insecure Lyrics by Seed to Tree

Proportions

2019

[Verse 1]
An old man with a cell phone
It feels so good to compare
Become sad in a second
If it comes to ourselves
An undertone in your critique
I guess I'll leave it that way
No reason to reach for the peak
As it will change anyway
[Chorus]
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
[Verse 2]
A crackling voice on a record
We got the freedom to share
How would you pronounce these same words?
Was that a smirk on your face?
Oh, won't you rather be patient
Homesick till we're there
Could you stop being gracious?
Trust me no one needs that
[Chorus]
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
This was now for the last time
Why would you feel insecure?
Why would you feel insecure?
[Outro]
And it's too early to go home
Egomaniac vertigo
It's too early to go home
Egomaniac vertigo
It's too early, it's too early
It's too early to go home
It's too early, it's too early
It's too early to go home
