Après ses premières aventures, l'enfant ne savait plus que penser. La mission dont il se sentait investi le dépassait. Il doutait de ce qu'elle impliquait vraiment. Les humains et les robots se faisaient la guerre, il le savait mais trop de détails demeuraient flous. Alors que sa peluche avait pris vie grâce aux énergies magiques de la forêt, il avait trouvé en cette petite bestiole un allié réconfortant. Son nouvel ami le lapin lui dit : "les hommes ont peur, ils n'ont plus d'courant, leurs scientifiques les plus brillants s'y affairent mais aucun d'entre eux n'comprend pourquoi. Sans le courant les robots deviennent inutilisables et de fait leur mise au rebut est décidée. Tous envoyés au même endroit, aussi loin qu'possible, les robots se rassemblent, s'organisent, ils refusent catégoriquement le sort qu'il leur est réservé. Très vite une nouvelle cité s'élève par dessus la décharge dans laquelle ils ont été remisés. Les robots s'arment et ainsi la lutte commence". La prophétie mentionne parfois la venue de celui ou celle qui rétablira l'ordre. Dans cette histoire là, il n'y a pas de prophétie. Le lapin révèle ensuite au gamin qu'une épée sacrée se trouve sur la lune. Quiconque la ramènerait sur terre pourrait enclencher le générateur universel et remettre le courant. Et ainsi il mettrait fin à la guerre
