Noel (Light of the World) Lyrics by Shelly E. Johnson

Christmas Is Beautiful

2017

[Verse 1]
Come hear the story of Love Divine
As earth is invaded with Holy Light
Promise of ages, now flesh and bone
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
[Verse 2]
Heaven leaned closer that silent night
To watch the Creator be born a child
Here in a manger, the King enthroned
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
[Chorus]
Noel, Noel
Noel, Noel
Jesus our Savior, the light of the world
[Verse 3]
From cradle of mercy to cross of shame
The innocent baby will take our place
Forever the grave He will overcome
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
[Chorus]
Noel, Noel
Noel, Noel
Jesus our Savior, the light of the world
Noel, Noel
Noel, Noel
Jesus our Savior, the light of the world
[Verse 4]
One day the skies will be filled again
With songs from on high to announce the end
As God brings His daughters and sons back home
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
Jesus, Messiah, our hope has come
[Chorus]
Noel, Noel
Noel, Noel
Jesus our Savior, the light of the world
Noel, Noel
Noel, Noel
Jesus our Savior, the light of the world
