Alive & Well (Intro) Lyrics by Shelton Harris

Nothing Better

0

[Verse 1: Shelton Harris]
This is what happens when dreams are turned to reality
And real lifes what you never saw happening
Looking at my city know forever they be lifting me up
And the haters so small from this balcony
Things were looking down, My drive kept on
Shout out to my mom, we eating when I get on
Rap was never dead, the game has been alive and kicking
You must be thinking bout the times I've been slept on
Rocking with the greats, and that was all in a year
Forever indebted to everyone thats gotten me here
Fans are imbedded to let them down is my only fear
So I'm staying true to me, my message is clear
Will I make it? Only time will tell
I've got a little bit of talent and a drive to excel
For those who never meet me I promise you won't forget me
Hope you got a good impression, I'm alive and well its all good
Hope you got a good impression, I'm alive and well its all good
Hope you got a good impression, I'm alive and well its all good
Will I ever make it big, only time can tell its all good
Cuz i ain't going nowhere...
