Dawaun Parker Talks Detox Lyrics by Shots Fired

0

Well, see man, right now, so here's the thing that a lot of people don't know is that at one point a couple years ago, and I'm only saying this because Marsha Ambrosius revealed more, that the album he's working on is not called Detox. He scrapped Detox a couple years ago and came up with another title. I won't say what the title is cause I haven't seen that online or anything yet, but he was like "We're gonna call it this, and we're gonna put it out this way and this way and this way." And he told a couple of people and we kind of knew that that's just what the thing we were workin' on and if we get the joint that he feels, like "Here's the joint I can lead off with", that that's what the project will be. I'm under the impression that it's still that one
How great would you say the Detox archive is? Cause I imagine it's sort of like, there's probably 300 amazing songs that are just in the chambers.I would say maybe that many beats, I think that the amount of songs isn't that much because he won't let anything that already wasn't potential to possibly be a 10 even get recorded. You know, so there's a smaller amount of songs than that, but I think that they're bangers, and the stuff, I mean, when the first round, I say the first round, but the round of leaks that I remember when I was first around, like "Topless" and all of that stuff, the stuff with T.I., when T.I. had the session of all the stuff he rapped
You worked on "Why You Wanna" too, didn't you?I did
Mike's favorite T.I. songShout out to Khao, the producer. When that first range of stuff came out, there's some stuff in the vault that was created then, from Khalil, myself, from all the given people around us, it's like, man I wish people could have heard that. And it's some versions of songs that were originally Detox versions that, you know. "Get You Some" was originally a potential beat for Doc. There's a few other things. To me, the music is there, and I feel like one day he's gonna wake up and say, "Here. Today's the day", and I'll put it out. The music's been there
