Genjutsu (Unreleased 2007 Rough Demo) Lyrics by Sifu Versus

2016

[Verse 1]
I see trees of green, red roses, white clouds and a golden sun
I see little kids not starving, but having fun
I see the Third World become a term that's obsolete
I see the extinction of words bourgeois and elite
I see immigrants being treated like citizens of first class
I see the absence of an uneducated mass
I see unemployment being a vague memory of days bygone
I see the end of wars - never again Baghdad or Saigon
I see crime reports worldwide being blank sheets of paper
I see prosperity percentage rising higher than a skyscraper
I see movies where minority characters live till the end
I see everyone having the luxury to just spend
I see the lack of victims closing down the last abused wives' shelter
I see people saying, "It can't get any better"
I see more trees, more roses and the sun's light flooding the earth
It's the creation of life, the miracle called birth
It's an illusion...
Wake the fuck up!
[Verse 2]
I see burned forests, dead flowers and grey clouds blocking the sun
I see kids walking in ruins, carrying guns
I see countries relying on international assistance
I see the gap between rich and poor still being an incredible distance
I see immigrants being treated like human abomination
I see ignorance and a mob's mentality in every nation
I see unemployment hitting red - drops in salaries, raise in taxes
I see carpet bombings in cities ordered by the moron from Texas
I see crime reports every night aka the evening news
I see workers not being able to afford a new pair of shoes
I see movies where, if you're not white, you're either shot or the bad guy
I see everyone having to choose which necessity to buy
I see women turn into boxing bags, leaving their homes in a hearse
I see people saying, "It really can't get any worse"
I see no trees, no roses and the sun fading on the side
I wonder how the earth has not committed suicide
