Met in LA Lyrics by Silver Escape

Nostalgic and Embryonic

2022

I want to be famous, just like the stars in the flicks
Or that radiate the airwaves
The American dream
One thing you gotta know is, I don't want to replicate it all
Well that'd be boring, A new generation seems fit
We stay near and dear, having our own version to taste
Nothing will seem fair if you won't risk being hurt
Some will try to understand the encryption in you-anese
The ultimate language, certain people can decode
Break to what's underneath
You nevеr lie to me, no, no
'Cause honеsty's little sting isn't as long lasting, yeah
We met in LA, you called me up and then said
"Oh baby why don't you come over" yeah
We met in LA, by the hills, loneliness it went away
B.y.o.b, be by your side
Be here at nine, hollywood sign
Heeeeyyy, heeeeyyy
Through painting, cyan rings, magenta, answers the beep
Don't be sorry, I can't sleep, I know it
You never stopped, listening, your intellect it speaks
Break to what's underneath
You never lie to me, no, no, no
'Cause honesty's little sting isn't as long lasting, yeah
We met in LA, you called me up and then said
"Oh baby why don't you come over" yeah
We met in LA, by the hills, loneliness it went away
B.y.o.b, be by your side
Be here at nine, hollywood sign
Heeeyyy, heeeyyyy
