Plans to Prosper Lyrics by simplyollie

O

2022

[Intro]
Gwen
[Chorus]
There was plan for me from the start
And one to prosper
Where I'm from, city full of killers, some marauders
A miracle I made it out
God put me on a different route
On the narrow path
Devil thought he had me
Who got the last laugh?
Saved, saved, saved
No, I don't burn sage, sage, sage
All I gotta do is pray, pray, pray
And these demons go away, way, way
[Verse]
Born in sin city
Then I moved to the valley, uh (The 209)
8th grade, I went down the hole, felt likе Coraline
I was bullied, nevеr fit in
I was never drippin'
That's when I was driftin', that's when I went missin'
I went to hills
Where I popped the pill
Rolled up my dosage to refill
Swimming in sin, I grew some gills
I knew I was very ill
I went numb, so I couldn't feel nun
I thought I found me some real love
Was far from it, mm
Like doggone-it!
Stood there, right on the edge
I thought it was gon' be the end
But I made it
Guess I'm highly favored
That's what it say on paper
So let's throw a rager
(All because our God is good!)
[Chorus]
There was plan for me from the start
And one to prosper
Where I'm from, city full of killers, some marauders
A miracle I made it out
God put me on a different route
On the narrow path
Devil thought he had me
Who got the last laugh?
Saved, saved, saved
No, I don't burn sage, sage, sage
All I gotta do is pray, pray, pray
And these demons go away, way, way
Saved, saved, saved
No, I don't burn sage, sage, sage
All I gotta do is pray, pray, pray
And these demons go away, way, way
Uh
