Confused Lyrics by Sleeping In The Aviary

Young Love Is Easy (unreleased demos)

2015

I keep pushing my heart, when it wants to be with you
It keeps talking back, but the answers are removed
[?] girl, I had to get some rest
And I had to pay the rent when it was due
But my heart keeps beating louder when you call me up
It seems with every hour I fall in and out of love
I don't know what to do
And it's too late to stay confused
Sometimes it will confess that it wants to be alone
And wants to go back home around the booze
But some days it hurts so loud that it rushes to the nearest crowd
And makes me give advice on things that I don't havе a clue about
But it always will beat louder whеn you call me up
Every minute of every hour that I live without your love
And I don't know what to do
I said it's too late to stay confused
And then, just yesterday I asked my heart out on a date
I said "come out and play," it said "okay"
And it ended in my room, and as we ogled at the moon
It said "too late's always worse than too soon"
And now I know why it beats louder when you call me up
And I know why it gets sour when it [?]
Oh I don't know what to do
It's too late to stay confused
