Before diving right into hearing and or learning izzo, it seems be pertinent to understand what it is. Izzo is a sort of gibberish or pseudo language that is much easier to learn than a whole new language, which to the ordinary person sounds like nonsense, but to an experienced speaker or listener makes perfect sense.
You have likely heard rappers like Snoop Dogg, Killer Mike and even Eminem using a variation of this in music and Snoop Dogg fo shizzle uses it popularly in other forms of media. The language originated as a way for hustlers and pimps to encode what they were saying from the general public.
There are many different versions of these gibberish type languages. The one I know and the easiest one to learn of these is the Izzo / Izzle language. They way it works is in any given word, you add iz as an infix before the vowel in each syllable. It isn't hard, but definitely takes some getting used to. So for example Dog would become D-iz-og and Towel would become T-iz-ow-iz-el.
How did I learn this gibberish? Well my dad picked it up from working in a grocery store as a teenager, and when I was in New York we spoke it to each other when we didn't want others to hear what we were saying. Click the annotation to hear it in izzo.
