LETTER TO MY EX Lyrics by SOLANI

2025

[VERSE]
I don't think they understand
What they lost here today, today
And I'm sending you my prayers
Even if I'm going far away
So if you read this let me preface
That I don't give second chances, anyway
Any day
I just need to let this surface
For my own healing and purpose
For my sake, my sake
[Chorus]
This is a letter to my ex boyfriend
To my ex best friends
To the life I spent
To the time I wrote a letter
To my ex boyfriend
To my ex bestfriends
To the time I spent that night
We should've been
There for all the rest of our lives
Step in even in the rough times
Always on the tip of our minds
But intead I'm writing to you my
Ex boyfriend to my ex bestfriends
To the time we spent: goodbye
This is a letter to my ex
[VERSE]
And I thought that we could've been something more (Ah)
Took but a shot but you just don't care anymore
And I guess thats how you were down to the core
And I'm torn
What was it for
And I don't why you kept me by your side
Is that evidence of a frame of mind?
Take me on my time but you won't reply
"You're crazy" when I speak my mind
Is she relevant?
That's irrelevant
Why is that a thought on who you're gonna pick?
You got me on hold with the next one on the list
[BRIDGE]
And it hurts me more than I
Can ever explain it
Doesn't even end there
And if I'm being honest
I could have never hate you
It just doesn't feel fair
[Chorus]
This is a letter to my ex boyfriend
To my ex best friends
To the life I spent
To the time I wrote a letter
To my ex boyfriend
To my ex bestfriends
To the time I spent that night
We should've been
There for all the rest of our lives
Step in even in the rough times
Always on the tip of our minds
But intead I'm writing to you my
Ex boyfriend to my ex bestfriends
To the time we spent: good bye
Letter to my ex
(Vocal chop)
This is a
Letter to my ex, letter to my ex
Letter to my ex, letter to my ex
