Intro
"Uh, what the hell is this Akira thing, huh?"
"I asked Rio, one time. He told me that Akira is ultimate energy."
"Ultimate energy?"
"Humans do all kinds of things during their lifetime, right? Discovering things. Building things. Things like houses, high-speed trains, motorcycles, bridges and cities, rockets... So where do you suppose all that knowledge and energy comes from?"
Verse 1 (Money Mic)
I’m in my zone (I’m in my zone) I got that Akira Energy flow
Ring the alarm (Ring the alarm). Ultimate energy 'bout to be blown
Ultimate energy, outta control. Ultimate energy, bang’biza ‘Akira.’
I got no enemies living in Africa, some call me enemy, but they a friend of me
Jealousy, jealousy. Akira energy, sending me synergy
Symmetry’s sorta like sacred geometry. Humble apology
I’m on some other psychology, pardon me
Elevate game, don’t hate. I motivate straight from the gate
Without even saying a word, my energy's out of this world!
Get a taste of that, get a taste of that, ultimate energy flow
Get a taste of that, get a taste of that, ultimate energy, whoa!
Tap in the tapestry, make it a fantasy, that’s where the ultimate energy lies
Gap in it gallantly, sore in it cautiously, pouring the glory adorning us all
Pre-hook
Akira energy, ultimate energy, akira, whoa!
Ultimate energy, I got that, you got that, we got that energy
Ultimate energy, akira energy, ultimate, whoa!
Ultimate energy, I could do, you could do, we could do anything!
Chorus
(Ultimate energy?) Ultimate energy, akira, whoa!
(Ultimate energy?) I got that, you got that, we got that energy
(Ultimate energy?) Akira energy, ultimate, whoa
(Ultimate energy?) I could do, you could do, we could do anything!
Verse 2 (SoniQ)
Akira energy, I’d reminisce but need a clearer memory – bank
Look in the mirror and I see a friend of me
I see the inner me, look at you niggas and I see my enemies. Frank-ly
I won’t fuck with you. Me, I don’t fuck with you stuck achooz. Fuck what you think
They offered me blow, but I choose dank, my nigga had both
I’m coughing the smoke that grew from a plant, call it mad growth
This my last oath, though I always make promises. Particularly when I’m on your sis
With mellifluous ease, I’ll meticulously kill ridiculously like a Sonya kiss
Mortal Kombat that I fought upon that
These labels making niggas sign immoral contracts
While I feel I’m being followed by my Vodacom app
I can’t focus, I’ve gone bogus. But you would think that Marshall & Shawn wrote this
No matter how impartial the song, notice, I’m a renegade that never gave no shits. And what’s that?
(Ultimate energy) You disrespect that, you’re insulting like every-thing that I stand for
I sing on the dancefloor, baltering trepidly
Ultimate energy, can say what you want, you’re not halting the synergy
Think I’ll falter eventually, but I’m riding on (Akira energy) ey!
Chorus
(Ultimate energy?) Ultimate energy, akira, woah!
(Ultimate energy?) I got that, you got that, we got that energy
(Ultimate energy?) Akira energy, ultimate, woah
(Ultimate energy?) I could do, you could do, we could do anything!
Outro
"Humans were once like monkeys, right? And before that, like, reptiles and fish. And even before that, plankton and amoebas. Even little creatures like those have incredible amounts of energy inside them."
"Oh, yeah, so, it's in the genes, right?"
"And even before that! Maybe there was genetic material in the air and water, even in the particles of dust in space. And if that's the truth, then what sort of memories are hidden within them?"
