Birth of a witch Lyrics by St. Meave

2023

crisp autumn weather, the death of a father
today will be colder than any of my summers,
my mind is corrupt, it is soaked in agony
and my heart is back from its weekly roam, its battered and bruised
but i’ll rinse it out till the blood runs clean, till it’s empty of sin
this is my stagnant routine, full of un developing change
i embody hate between my thighs
i evolve into something so fragile the moment it strikes midnight
i am a bird of sorrow, but still i fly
i am dead, yet still i am alive
i am both cruel and kind
i am built on a strange foundation, i am a collection of abnormal patterns
i am a breed of which hasn’t been discovered yet, i am strangely uniquе
i bit that hand that tried to feed me, no wonder i was so skinny, so thin, so frail, so wеak
i was the strongest of the crowed at my peak
but now i’m worried about every whispering peek
i am full yet so damn empty
i am not of another realm, i am of this one
everything i build can become undone
if i fall into darkness i will build my own sun
my mind is just a tied ribbon
watch it come undone
a ball of yarn for a cat to fondle with
my bones are just a babies rattle
use my flesh as armor during battle
my eyes are just a cars headlights
my body is the gateway between the realm of the damned and the world which we sit in
i am walking while i am being chased, yet still i outrun
i managed to drift into shadows, i am of liquid, i am heartless as stone, i am non conforming as gas, i am of greater mass of human understanding
i have lived before the first crash of the solar system, i have watched it all collide multiple times before
i am no longer scared of death, i am friends with him
i have died but i have kept my consciousness
i have given things away yet i still keep my selfishness
i am dust and whistled echoes of past people
i know all their stories
i am far more than visible
i am a squirrel
i am a crow, the bird of sorrow
i am the start of the streams in scotland, i am the deep ocean
after a thousand years i have finally awoken
you could slit my wrists
burn me at the steak like a witch
and try to convince me that i had birthed you from my hips
but you won’t hear me utter a word from my lips
i married my pride — till death do us part
i took that oath like a steak to thy heart
modern day vampire, kill me with the cruelest of satire
i am transcendent
out of the reach of words
i am of rhythmic signals
my soul is music
i am manic
today, has been the birth of a witch
