Wishing On a Star Lyrics by Steven G

ShowGreat3

2019

[Intro]
Ayy, tell them niggas to watch out, man, I'm coming through
And I'm gon' talk my shit
I see you, Nino
Yeah, it's that '93 shit
Keep on wishin', nigga
Yeah, ah
[Verse 1]
Wishing on it like I never had
Push start, Beamer automatic
Slidin' with your bitch, I'm in traffic
Stretchin' out that bag, it's elastic
'Cause I done gave these niggas plenty chances
The table turned, fucked around and made enhancements
Got that bag, damn right, you know I'm flashing
I got a new deal, damn right, this ain't last year, uh
Most of these niggas, they wouldn't last here
Better off fuckin' around, bein' a cashier
I don't stoop to certain levels 'cause they down there
Get your monkey ass from around here
They put me in a tank to try to drown me (Nigga)
Fucked around and watched all my surroundings
Niggas only do what you allowing
I mean, bitches only do what you allowing
[Chorus]
I'm wishing on a star (Y'all niggas playin' the wrong side of the fence, nigga)
Stay true to who you are (ShowGreat the squad, nigga)
Wishing on a dream (Y'all niggas are fucked up, dumb ass)
To follow what I need (What that nigga put on Instagram? Hashtag dumbass, yeah aight, look)
[Verse 2]
If I start trippin' on that action shit
Do it by myself, nigga, I don't need nobody next to me
'Cause I've been prayin', dear God, don't let 'em get the best of me
And he been sendin' signs like yeah, them niggas less than me
But I don't wanna talk too much, that shit be stressin' me
Every time I pull up to my granny house, she stressin' me
For sure I'm gon' test 'em, 'cause I ain't learn my lesson
I'm hearing niggas talk like, "When the fuck we gon' catch him?"
See it in my eyes, I ain't bluffing
'Cause I done danced with the devil plenty times, it ain't nothing
I had to cut some niggas around me that I don't fuck with
Then I had to learn what true friendship was with niggas I stuck with
It's 2019, they still on that tough shit
Niggas clout chase for attention, that shit is dumb shit
They know I got heat, they know all that shit that I come with
Now they see me, they be like ShowGreat, you came up dumb quick
Yeah, nigga, facts
[Chorus]
I'm wishing on a star
Stay true to who you are (Niggas can't see me, nigga, fuck y'all thought, niggga?)
Wishing on a dream (Y'all niggas shouldn't even be in the same presence as me, nigga)
To follow what I need (All y'all niggas gon' stay right where y'all at, nigga)
I'm wishing on a star
