I didn’t have faith, didn’t know about Grace, Didn’t care if I live, even though I had kids, like I wouldn’t be missed, I was drowning i sin, my head it would spin, with a devilish grin, My body was weak, no desire to eat, no desire to speak, and I can’t even sleep, my body would tweak, and the cycle repeats, Convinced I was stuck, I was down on my luck, like there’s no one to trust, like who can I hug, always holding a grudge, sweep it under the rug, Always feeling attack, living like it’s a trap, always watching my back, always holding the strap, I regretted the past, wishing that I would crash, believing the lies, I was walking with pride, but wishing I died, I was losing the fight, no one hearing the cries, no one here on my side, I was looking all pail, jumping over the rail, my spirit was stale, expecting to fail, dead or or jail, on a highway to hell, Inside I was dead, all these lies in my head, all the lies they would spread, I was drowning in meds, toss and turn in my bed, all I wanted was rest, Now I’m living the truth, now I have proof, I am renewed, his love is for me, his love is for you, so how can we lose
