For as long as i can remember i have been dreaming..
I have been dreaming of a plan A

leaning towards the culture of passive consumption,
rather than actively creating.

- and while my brain says i should,

my instincts..

My instincts are telling me that if i close that door,
that one spark of light inside of me,

will wither to grey
simply fade away,
and so i wait

for something extraordinary to walk through that door,
for me to carpe diem, seize the day, seize the moment, seize the opportunity
and never let go of it..

Until i realize that opportunities are not meant to be seized..
we create them within our selves, they are meant to be released.
an opportunity will never show its true character if it remains in captivity

meaning if you are like me,
your plan A has been imprisoned by your plan B,

and only when you realize that the key to plan A
lies in the shadow of plan B
will you bring a torch to C and set it free.

We face life changing opportunities everyday,
but we fail to grasp their importance.

We simply let them slide right before our eyes
which is why, I dare you

to do something you wouldn't do
do it if it frightens you,
do it if you don't understand it

I do it because nobody believed I could do it...not even myself
I do it - but i don't plan to do it..

meaning that i stand before you today..

and I no longer have a plan b,
I have removed failure from my vocabulary
I do not understand defeat

I only know of success - and less success
and I strive to define new heights and definitions of success!

I do it for the disbelievers to observe
that my word is bond.
it can not be shaken nor stirred

I do it
for you to find your life goal,
take notes,
and pursue it

I do it
but don't need no sweatshop sneakers to remind me on the daily
to just do it

I just do it
because this
this is ultimately who I am.

And I am more,
than a Plan to B
