But I just want some people to respect my name
But what do I have to offer that could make that a reality
When I’m the one who’s been criticizing and doubting me?
If I can win myself then I can probably make it
As long as I stay honest and I don’t try to go fake it
But that's pretty hard to do when you don’t like who you are
And you wanna refresh, reset, and restart
So tell me would I rise from the ashes on the ground
If I lit my life up and I burned it all down?

I used to skip meals so that I could make beats

Would I find a new home for my heart and my head?
Would I get to live a life overflowing with peace?
Would I wake up every day with a soul that felt free?
Cause these the gifts that I don’t got right now

So many things are battling for my heart
