HOW TO FORGET YOU (destroy you) Lyrics by STYXVII

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN 2 STARS COLLIDE & FINDING OUT THE HARD WAY

2023

[Verse 1]
There's mold on the wall
And it's never coming off
So I'll leave the room
And keep the doors locked
Breathe in the air
But it's slipping through the cracks
And it brings me back
To when I was with you
I could try and fight it
But I know that you're inside
It's getting harder to think about it
I know I can't hide it
Can't deny what happened to us
But I try anyway
[Chorus]
I don't know who I am
Where you start and where I end
It's underneath my skin
And it's making me feel sick
I'm tired of the way
That you make me feel insane
You're stuck inside my brain
And I want you to go away
I did what I had to forget
I will forget you
Get you out of mе
I won't let you infect me
[Verse 2]
I know it's not your fault
But you fuckеd everything up
And I hate the way you look me in the eyes
When it's nine o'clock and I'm dealing with this stuff
That you left behind 'cause you were never strong enough
To deal with anything
To stop the pain
Oh, you just kept letting him get his way with us
Now I'm making up for all the shit you put us through
I'm tired of holding the weight
[Pre-Chorus]
I don't know who I am
Where you start and where I end
It's underneath my skin
And it's making me feel sick
I'm tired of the way
That you make me feel insane
You're stuck inside my brain
And I want you to go away
[Chorus]
I did what I had to forget
I will forget you
Get you out of me
I won't let you infect me
[Pre-Chorus]
I don't know who I am
Where you start and where I end
It's underneath my skin
And it's making me feel sick
I'm tired of the way
That you make me feel insane
You're stuck inside my brain
And I want you to go away
[Chorus]
I did what I had to forget
I will forget you
Get you out of me
I won't let you infect me
