The Wish Lyrics by Sweet & Lynch

Only To Rise

2015

[Verse 1]
I took a plane this mornin', right to your front door
Opened my eyes to realize it's just a metaphor
What I would give to hold you, to smell you on my skin
[Pre-Chorus]
If you're dreamin', let me in
[Chorus]
Girl, I want to love you just like Hollywood
Like a New York Times best-selling fairy tale
A knight in shinin' armor who's defending you
The wish within your well
[Verse 2]
I feel alive by your side, we create electricity
The king and queen of our own world in serendipity
When I look to the future, the brightness blinds my eyes
[Pre-Chorus]
You're the sunlight lighting my skies
[Chorus]
Girl, I want to love you just like Hollywood
Like a New York Times best-selling fairy tale
A knight in shinin' armor who's defending you
The wish within your well
[Guitar Solo]
[Pre-Chorus]
Oh-woah
[Chorus]
Girl, I want to love you just like Hollywood
Like a New York Times best-selling fairy tale
A knight in shinin' armor who's defending you
The wish within your well
