I Don’t Like Parties Lyrics by Tash

2017

[Verse 1]
I don't like parties
And neither do you
You think I came for the cake
But I came 'cause I wanted to see you
No, I don't like parties
And neither do you
You said you never should have came
This whole thing's a waste
But at least I'm next to you
[Chorus]
I don't feel like dancing tonight
I feel like going home
I don't feel like talking tonight
I should be on my own
I don't feel like wasting my time
Hoping it's time to go
I don't feel like nothing, no no
[Verse 2]
We don't like parties
But we're still mingling
You suggested we leave
But we don't have the guts to do it
We don't like parties
When the people lose their wits
They become another figure
Just moving around with no conscience
[Chorus]
No, I don't feel like dancing tonight
I feel like going home
I don't feel like talking tonight
I should be on my own
And I don't feel like wasting my time
Hoping it's time to go
I don't feel like nothing, no no
[Bridge]
Why can't we just sneak through the backdoor?
And let our urge to leave be no more
We'll abandon this liquor [?]
[Verse 1]
I don't like parties
And neither do you
You think I came for the cake
But I came 'cause I wanted to see you
No, I don't like parties
And neither do you
You said you never should have came
This whole thing's a waste
But at least I'm next to you
[Chorus]
See now, I don't feel like dancing tonight
I feel like going home
I don't feel like talking tonight
I should be on my own
And I don't feel like wasting my time
Hoping it's time to go
I don't feel like nothing, no no
[Outro]
No more
No more
No more
