In the middle of starting over Lyrics by Tayla Gorman

World we wished we lived in

0

(Verse 1)
I met you when we were children more specifically in 09’ you were my best friend and life was simpler back then but everything had changed when I moved away
(Verse 2)
I was left alone with nobody to talk to I had to start my life all over again and most people didn’t like me not sure why but it explains my insecurities I miss you and I hope your life is better than mine
(Chorus)
In the middle of starting over, I was completely fine but I saw you at the shop one time which shocked us both after how many years I haven’t seen you, it must’ve been nine
(Verse 3)
Before we met again did I ever tell you that I talked about you to my mother everyday, saying I miss you and I needed you, I just couldn’t find you. And all of the cards you used to give me at my birthdays and Christmas time I’d always read
(Chorus)
In the middle of starting over I was completely fine but I saw you at the shop one time and everything felt right after how many years I haven’t seen you it must’ve been nine
(Verse 4)
I often think about if you talked about me the way I talked about you but I hope you enjoyed growing up but I hope you were happier when you were growing up with me
