Loose Lyrics by TaylorNikohl

Rooted - TaylorNikohl

2022

[Intro]
Mmm ooh
I am just a (hu)man
Don't tend have a good sense of direction
Lead me where you want me to be
[Verse 1]
You tell me not to worry you tell me to just follow you
But you don't say where we're going
Don't tell me if we'll be there soon
It's hard not knowin thought that I was in control for so long
You say "just trust in me"
Lord teach me how to trust show me how to let go
Things been lookin rough
Things are gettin heavy and I cannot bare it all (on my own)
But I can't seem to share at all (oh no no) what I carry
My soul needs peace
Wonder who would I be if I made a point to start
Trusting you with uncertain timing
If I ain't let еxperiences comе in and define me
Lay all of my trust in you
Under your wings there my soul finds peace
Who would I be if I brought and left it at your feet (if I brought and left it)
Casted all my cares on the King (casted all my cares on the king)
Cause' He cares for me (for me)
Said I'd be (I'd be)
Someone whose soul knows peace
[Chorus 1]
You say "loose your control of what you can't control
What good would it do if you gained the world
But then you lose your soul
Go on and loose your control"
[Bridge]
God says "why don't ya surrender, surrender
Everything u think u know, everywhere you want go
I got better plan foolproof
It's all in my hands, ready when you loose
Take up your cross ( lay it all down)
And follow my heart (surrender, surrender)
Know the journey is long
But if you just lay down your life (surrender, surrender)
I promise you gon find it through me
That's the only way to be free
[Chorus 2]
Loose your control of what you can't control
What good would it do if you went your own way
But then you lose your soul
Go on and loose your control
[Outro]
My yoke is easy, my yoke is easy
Easy
My yoke is easy, my yoke is easy
My yoke is easy (my burden is light)
My yoke is easy, easy" (mmm)
Reach out and touch Him (easy)
Call on His name one time (easy)
He'll take all your burdens (easy)
He'll take all the pain like that (easy)
Easy (mmm) Easy, Easy (mmm) Easy
Just like that, just like that (Easy, easy yeah)
It's too easy for Him
It's real easy for Him
