[Intro]
Are- are we ready? Yeah
Okay wait, can you hear us okay? Are we doin' okay?
Aye aye, captain
The first ever TDMUC concert
Let's go Butterdee
So uhh, this is something really special
Alex made a banger (this is our newest song)
[Verse 1: Asher DeVerna]
Hey, we're so back!
Second album with a new first track
Give you a pat on the back from the fact that you're listenin'
New ideas, look at everybody pitchin' in
And this might be the last
Slow down the flow, 'cause wе're movin' too fast
And we're movin' up whеre everything is bigger and better, man
But you can't predict the future like the weatherman
Oh, how it's been so long! We're so sorry we've been gone
Never see us draggin' like a Leviathan
This song goes out to our number one fan!
Don't ask what it stands for, I hate to explain it, say it
Come on man, it's TDMUC!
When I listen to this song in 30 years I'll remember how much y'all meant to me!
[Chorus]
TDMUC, you see, is the dank meme upload century, yeah
We could use a mulligan but now we got Nick, so the group chat's full again
TDMUC, you see, is the dank meme upload century, yeah
We're so back
[Verse 2: Alex L]
Ay
Let's do it one more time, I feel like Daft Punk
Sittin' thinkin' that this might be the last one
Owen's house, kitchen table, spittin' bars into the mic
Will there ever be another time it feels this right?
Since last time we all came so damn far
Nick wrote some scripts, Owen got a car
Asher goin' to Berklee's, all my friends are stars
And me? I spent my time writing these bars
Imma be honest, we don't even know you (huh?)
I'm able to use my logic, get practice with the pro tools (whoa)
Makin' this album every time with almost no rules
Never done a single thing the way we were supposed to (yeah!)
Big dreams, only option, feel like Sammy Fableman
Been this way since 7th grade when I first opened Ableton (never change)
Not only is this album 2, it's the outcome to
All the work we put in, we did this with no label, man (we're so back!)
[Chorus]
TDMUC, you see, is the dank meme upload century, yeah
We could use a mulligan but now we got me!
So the group chat's full again
TDMUC, you see, is the dank meme upload century, yeah
We're so back
[Verse 3: Rampullyuh]
I'm far from a pioneer, happy that I did appear
But thanks for having me for the second premiere
After Beer, before Senior Year
TDMUC, yeah I'm finally here!
We won zombies thrice and that's a fact
Look up from the camera yellin' "That's a wrap!"
Then we go home to make gangsta rap
Repeatin' this line, yeah we're so back!
I'm like Desmond, second season type dude
Alex made a banger for the right mood (woo)
Asher makin' beats like he's Dwight Schrute (yuh)
Owen speedin' round in the night cruise (vroom vroom)
This can't be the beginning of the end (lost)
I'm so lucky that I have y'all as friends (I love y'all)
This album so deep, yeah, Imma get the bends (bends)
That's my boys right there, sell me this pen! (Jordan Belfort!)
[Chorus]
TDMUC, you see, is the dank meme upload century, yeah
We could use a mulligan but now we got me!
So the group chat's full again
TDMUC, you see, is the dank meme upload century, yeah
We're so back
[Verse 4: Owen Parrott]
Owen is still right here
But we're at the next frontier
But it's been more than a year
For a second, I was a cashier
Read about William Shakespeare
Made a song called Senior Year
I learned about an ampere
Not too useful, unless you're an engineer
Got a fourth musketeer
Not acting too cavalier
Don't want to come off austere
Sayin' bye to every peer
Pulling up our landing gear
Flying off to pioneer
No clue where we're gonna be near
I'll bring home a souvenir
Trying hard to persevere
We're not gonna disappear
Working towards our real career
Future's murky, it ain't that clear
Headin' to the next tier
Not gonna shed a tear
Just the sheer fact that we're here
[Outro]
Alright, alright ok that's enough
Let's start the album now
