Super Duper Outro Lyrics by Telly

Still Learning

0

[Intro, talking]
If you're hearing this, you've reached the end of the tape
But I hope y'all enjoyed this. I hope you've learned more about me as a rapper and as a person
I don't wanna be all inspirational and shit on the outro
I just wanna thank y'all, hopefully you'll replay this whole tape
I remember freestyling with my cousin when I was like 12, 13
This nigga James would say, it was fruity, but he's like "When the beat drop, my meat drop"
He told me to say it, I guess, love you fam
So lemme just do one more little rap, to send you off
I'm trying to work on my double time, let's see if I can do this
[Verse]
Semi automatical radical when I get at you
Illmatic with the gravity flow, floating like inner tubes
Clear vivid dreams of me in the mainstream
Same thing moving through the boulevard of broken dreams
Lemme catch my breath, lemme not break a sweat
Cuz if I break sweat then I won't break records
If I don't break records, then it wasn't worth the effort
The blood, sweat, tears, me facing my fears
Wrote it down really good check my handwriting
And I wrote it so hard that I broke my hand writing
So I can't be stopped at all, this is more than a hobby
I put my all into it, this is more than a job, see
This is more than music, this is my life
This is the result of hard work, pain and sacrifice
And I'mma do it til my soul is in the afterlife
Devil's knocking at my door, God's saying, "pay him no mind"
So forever, forever I'mma be up on my grind
Cuz your worst fear is idle time
People wanna knock you, crush you, step on your dreams
Change like the weather, fall, summer and spring
But the light at the tunnel is brighter than it seems
And when you getting money that's when niggas turn green
They so envious, they wanna envy us
Envy me, no MVP and the Vans on my feet keep my cypher complete
This the end of the road, not the end of the story
A chapter closed, but I'm still aiming for the victory
Progress, I can say I finally made it
Had to rediscover myself in the most unexpected of places
I thank my friends, I thank my fans
Mom, Crys, Jovell, I made it fam
Shout out to everyone who hated it and loved it, man
Because you made me everything I am
Tears full of pain, heart full of pride, everything changed January 25th, 2005
That's when my grandma died, but she in a better place
And when the cherry blossoms bloom that's a smile on her face
And when she left, she left me with her wisdom and her grace
She told me I can change the world, make it a better place
If I try my hardest, what's not to say
I can change the world, starting today?
A plethora of excellence, tomorrow's never promised
It took my granny's death to see that family's dishonest
But I got a couple left that will ride for me
I promise, Margie Yancy, forever will live your legacy
[Outro]
Some people you gotta just tell to get lost
Cuz they didn't wanna put in any work, yet they wanna be a boss
And I will never have no meaning or lose cause
Because he who doesn't hope to win has already lost
Thank you
