Der dürre König Lyrics by Teufel

0

War ein ein dürrer König
Der hatte ein Land am Meer
Er fuhr an allen Küsten
Brandschatzend hin und her
Er klopft an alle Türen
Mit seiner Knochenhand
Und füllt die leeren Säcke
Am weiten Meeresstrand
Und eines Tages fuhr er
Mit seinem Schiff hinaus
Und noch am selben Tag
Da zog ein Sturm herauf
Das Schiff trieb ab ins Weite
Ohne Wiederkehr
Und als der Sturm verflogen
Sah man kein Ufer mehr
Kein Wind kommt auf
Der Himmel leer
Kein Land in Sicht
Im weiten Meer
Kein Wind kommt auf
Kein Lüftchen weht
Das Wasser glatt
Es ist zu spät
Das Schiff trieb immer weiter
Aufs offene Meer hinaus
Und grinsend sass der Hunger
Im engen Bretterhaus
Da nahmen sie drei Würfel
Und spielten um den Tod
Sein Blut muss einer lassen
Sein Fleisch und Blut so rot
Und immer wenn ein Mann
Den kleinsten Wurf getan
Hebt man ihn gleich zu braten
Und zu verspeisen an
Dann ging es an den Zweiten
Den Dritten und so fort
Bis endlich nur der König
Und noch ein Mann an Bord
Kein Wind kommt auf
Der Himmel leer
Kein Land in Sicht
Im weiten Meer
Kein Wind kommt auf
Kein Lüftchen weht
Das Wasser glatt
Es ist zu spät
Der König pfiff und lachte
In das der andre Mann
Verdächtig nach ihm schielte
Und auf Verschwörung sann
Und zog ihm durch die Kehle
Sein Messer scharf und krumm
Und brach den dürren König
Mit einem Hiebe um
Er musst´ihn liegen lassen
Den Leib mit Haut und Haar
Weil er zu zäh als König
Und ungeniessbar war
