Spotlight Lyrics by TEX [The Experience]

Ikigai I: Perception

2020

[Intro: TEX & Prince VA]
Yea
Alright
Lying on bed wake up all night
Prince
Hellucinators
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
It's The Experience
[Chorus: TEX]
Lying on bed wake up all night
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
Used to try to hate on me like all right
Now they see me standing in the spotlight
Lying on bed wake up all night
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
Used to try to hate on me like all right
Now they see me standing in the spotlight
[Verse 1: TEX]
I remember staring at the fan
Hanging on my ceiling
Many times sleepless nights
All the cards I'm dealing
Sеlf doubt, people around
Question "Am I crazy?"
Ask about, path that bound
Is my vision, WAIT?
I wеnt from being a mission hurry
And a vision blurry
To a missionary, visionary
And a role model
Back in "Speed" I told you
I'll become a hope icon
Stacks in my head about these days
Are looking way taller
Sometimes I sit down and reminisce
I took control
Became legendary ever since
Now see me rocking out with Prince
Now we gotta count our wins
Now you wanna know it how
Here's the secret that it is
It's dealing with feelings to know all the meaning
Of being a being that you want to be and
Lifting a leg and then taking a step
To the kind of a future that you want to be in
Making a difference watch me beaming
Become a symbol that you want to see in
Stage on I'm reaching on all of my meaning
Hang on a second now what does that mean?
My face on magazines like Forbes 30
Now I'll be there
My face on New York City's Times Square
Now I'll be there
If you hate, watch your days all go by
As you watch us celebrate our whole life
[Chorus: Prince VA]
Lying on bed wake up all night
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
Used to try to hate on me like all right
Now they see me standing in the spotlight
Lying on bed wake up all night
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
Used to try to hate on me like all right
Now they see me standing in the spotlight
[Verse 2: Prince VA]
Turn me up I'm about to flex
Keep it real see me pull up with the cheques
So what's next, see me hopping out with TEX
Oh you mad just don't try to get me vexed
Give it up, I see the guap
They don't wanna see the boy cream of the crop
It's funny how the fans and the fakes want me to drop
So imma keep on going pull out all the stops
I be the future I got the keys
Pulling up when they be talking that greaze
The haters now fans 180 degress
Do it so hard till my neck and wrist freeze
Do it like Beckham when I'm on set pieces
Only top corner with all my releases
Say that I'm next and I give you the reasons
Get it like Cole when I'm killing my demons
In demand, yeah, feel like I'm the man
Woah
See the prince turn king like I'm Bran
Woah
Everybody wanna know about the brand
Tell you all about it sitting in a lamb
Motivation ambition
That be my inspiration
When I get going with the flow
That's a simulation
Never let the chance go as it passes by
Till I'm in your playlist as the highlight
[Chorus: TEX & Prince VA]
Lying on bed wake up all night
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
Used to try to hate on me like all right
Now they see me standing in the spotlight
Lying on bed wake up all night
Now I see me standing in the spotlight
Used to try to hate on me like all right
Now they see me standing in the spotlight
[Outro: TEX]
You see the problem is that
The world is always going to make you believe
That you ain't doing enough
But you gotta make a mission
And believe the vision
And this spotlight isn't for anybody else
It's for you
To see yourself in a new light
Ikigai
Perception
Inception
It's The Experience
