They Defied Lyrics by The Big Deal

Electrified

2024

[Verse 1]
They had to leave their homes, anyone who could go
They had to heed the call to bring salvation
Through the mountains and the hills
Through the forests and the streams
They had to go so far to face the danger
[Pre-Chorus]
On and on they've been moving high and low
Through day and night they strove into the fight
[Chorus]
They defied
They defied
For the homeland, eye to eye
They defied
For the freedom they defied
[Verse 2]
Climbing up ovеr the hills
Break the еndless rills
Nine days of burning hell on slopes of Cer
All of them were facing fear
Heading to the last frontier
In the sun and in the night, the raging fight
[Pre-Chorus]
On and on they've been moving high and low
Through day and night they strove into the fight
[Chorus]
They defied
They defied
For the homeland, eye to eye
They defied
For the freedom they defied
They defied
For the homeland, eye to eye
They defied
For the freedom they defied
[Guitar Solo - 02:08 - 02:24]
[Keyboard Solo - 02:24 - 02:42]
[Chorus]
They defied
They defied
For the homeland, eye to eye
They defied
For the freedom they defied
They defied
For the homeland, eye to eye
They defied
For the freedom they defied
[Instrumental Break]
[Outro]
May the God bless their souls
May their glory shine forevermore
