My brother transfixed by the smell
Said nothing, but his parted lips
Said he was in accord
We heard the sound of violins
Our hunger fiercely now piecing in paramount
To common sense
A spitted goat was smoking
Music rousing and provoking
And our tired feet felt strength on wine
And made to move once more
And oh how enchanting
We'll leave here full for sure
And waking while the village slept
We made each little step
Oh every little step
Was our secret
From house to house we filled our bags
With all the music their town had
We snuck songs from their sleeping arms
And from under their hands
We took a car, we took a train
And all the way we sang
And all the way we sang their songs
We left that village silent
But for christenings and dying's
But our family and friends
Have danced for days since we returned
And oh how we danced and....
We'll be a hit for sure!
