Celebration Lyrics by The Clark Sisters

The Clark Sisters’ Family Christmas

2009

[Spoken Intro]
Celebration, it's a celebration
We come to celebrate Jesus
Are you here to celebrate Jesus?
Lemme hear you make some noise
Lemme hear you make some noise
We celebrate him
The little baby wrapped in swaddling clothing
Lying in a manger
We celebrate the newborn king
[Verse]
Come on and gather around everybody
It's gonna be a celebration
For unto us a child is born, yeah yeah
If you're looking you will find him
Wrapped in swaddling clothes in a manger
You will know it's him because you'll find
The glory of the Lord in his hands, it's a great day
[Chorus]
For a celebration (celebrate his birth)
You don't need a invitation (you don't need a invitation)
The messiah is born (and he came to save us, yeah yeah)
It's celebration (it's a celebration, whoa)
We celebrate the king of kings (the lord of lords)
The lord of lords (the king of all the nations)
The king of all the nations
[Verse]
It was prophesied in Isaiah
That the Lord would give a sign
The whole diversion shall conceive and minister
We should call him Emmanuel, which means God be with us
His name is forever
And he will never, never, never change, oh it's a great day
[Chorus]
For a celebration (oh yeah, yeah)
You don't need a invitation (the messiah)
The messiah is born (it's a celebration)
It's celebration (oh)
We celebrate the king of kings
The lord of lords (all the nations)
The king of all the nations
[Verse]
I know you're wondering
How a virgin Mary can conceive
In the word the story says
The holy ghost shall come upon thee
And the power of the highest shall overshadow thee
And which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God
[Sproken Break]
We praise thee o' God
For the son of thy love
For Jesus who died and has now gone above
[Bridge]
(Everybody clap your hands)
(Come on and wave yours hands in the air)
(For unto us)
Unto us a child (a child is born)
Unto us a son is given (a song is given, oh, I'm so glad I rejoiced today because)
Let us celebrate (let us celebrate, celebrate, celebrate, celebrate)
Come on and worship him (worship him)
Won't you worship him (I, I, I, I, I, I)
Jesus Christ is born (celebrate you Jesus)
Unto us a child is born (we've been waiting for you)
Unto us a son is given (we've been hearing about you)
(It's been prophesied long ago, someone will come and save us, yeah yeah yeah)
Let us celebrate (wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful counselor)
Come on and worship him (come on and worship him)
Won't you worship him (come on and worship him)
Jesus Christ is born (oh yeah)
[Verse]
He's the lily of the valley, bright and morning star
Mary's little baby, gonna save the world
He's gonna heal the sick, he's gonna raise the dead
He's gonna give his life so we might live
He's born in a manger, wrapped in swaddling
Swaddling in clothes and
Lying there shining, shining like a star
With all power in his hands
I call him prince of peace, I call him lords of lords
He's a wonderful counselor, oh
I call him Jesus (Jesus)
He's the alpha (yeah) and omega
Beginning and the end
He the lily of the [???]
He's amazing, he's marvelous
I will worship him
I give him glory, hey (sing it with me Karen)
[Outro]
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, love him, love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, love him, love him
Come on everybody
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, love him, love him
I love him, I love him, I love him, I love him, love him
Love him
