New Suit Lyrics by The Commotions

New Suit

2020

These days nothing seems to go my way
I'm gettin' tired of the same ol' same
My friends keep tellin' me that all things change
And my image needs a brand-new frame
I can lose the beard and get a haircut
But somethin' tells that's just not enough
Put some effort in don't be shy
You don't need a special reason why
'Cause every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed guy
Check me out, fresh and clean, turnin’ heads
Causing a scene in my new suit
I'm a new man with a new plan
Yeah, I'm rockin' this new suit
Go on out, twist and shout, ain’t no doubt
I'm lookin' fine in my new suit
I'm a new man with a new plan
Good style is more than just a habit
A good suit is more than just the fabric
Hounds tooth through a subtle sheen
It's confidence that will cause a scene
Broad shoulders and a nice lapel
It feels so good when it fits so well
Oh my
Oh, we can't deny
'Cause every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed guy
Check me out, fresh and clean, turnin’ heads
Causing a scene in my new suit
I'm a new man with a new plan
Yeah, I'm rockin' this new suit
Go on out, twist and shout, ain’t no doubt
I'm lookin' fine in my new suit
I'm a new man with a new plan
A little bit softer now
A little bit softer now
Bring it up bring it up bring it up now
Bring it up bring it up bring it up now
A little bit louder now
Hey 1....2.....3.....4.......
Check me out, fresh and clean, turnin’ heads
Causing a scene in my new suit
I'm a new man with a new plan
Yeah, I'm rockin' this new suit
Go on out, twist and shout, ain’t no doubt
I'm lookin' fine in my new suit
I'm a new man with a new plan
