Broken Promise Lyrics by The Darkest Moment

Blindsight

0

We understand this inexistence
I try to understand your ill intention
You serve injustice
Now we’ve been through hell and back
But you never really seem to have regrets
With the way that you left us behind
Pushed aside
Fuck it I’m tired
Of how your promises turn to lies
I can’t seem to decipher it
The dishonesty never ends
Nothing but broken promises
That lead us to defeat
But we will stand
And fight this disaster
Hope diеs out in a quiet space, in emptinеss
When you wanna sit back and enjoy the fact
That you made your own way
You wanna watch the world burn?
You do your best to devastate this earth
We walk an endless mile for the inconsequential
Kill off the masses
Fuck your promises
We won’t fall for your filthy excuse
I never had to give up the fight, never had to give up
But I bet you’ll never try to find the time
To give back what was given to you
Nothing but broken promises
That lead us to defeat
But we will stand
And fight this disaster
Prayers
Won’t save your tomorrow
We avert the crisis
Through determination
Prevent devastation
Fuck your promises
Fuck your promises
