My New Love Lyrics by The Delfonics

Sound of Sexy Soul

1969

[Verse 1]
Look at me now, now that I am happy
You thought you had me hanging on a string
But I look at you now, now I have a new love
And she treats me just like I'm her king
[Chorus]
And I got sick and I'm tired of all of your foolishness
You made a fool of me and it was plain to see
Now that I found a new love that I want to be (with)
But it's true
[Verse 2]
I think you know, as sure as there is sunshine
You say I'll turn to your command
So why don't you go? Please, before you change me
The girl I found just gave me her true hand
[Chorus]
Yes, I got sick and I'm tired of all of your foolishness
You made a fool of me and it was plain to see
Now that I found a new love that I wanted to be (with)
[Instrumental Break]
[Chorus]
I got sick and I'm tired of all of your foolishness
You made a fool of me and it was plain to see
Now that I found a new love that I wanted to be (with)
But it's true
