Fist Pumps Lyrics by The Next Step

Songs from the Next Step: Season 5

2017

[Bridge]
Fist pumps
Leather jackets
Fist pumps
Sew your patches
Fist pumps
'Cause we go to eleven
Fist pumps
Like it's 1987 (Come on!)
[Verse 1]
Like to do things myself
So I don't ever owe none (Ha!)
And I do what I want
Yeah, march to my own drum (Yeah!)
My own beat
Don't act like you know me
Don't judge unless you walked
A couple of miles in my own feet
Don't blend in 'cause I blend out (Uh-huh)
Never stand in, I stand out
And I don't ever stand down, no (No!)
Better watch me as I go (Go!)
'Cause I know I'm flyer than most is
I'm outta here, peace out
I'm yellin' deuces (Come on!)
[Chorus]
One, two
Now we got the gloves off
Three, four
Show us what you're made of
Get up off your seat, 'cause
All this talk is cheap, yeah
One, two
Now we got the rhythm
Three, four
We lovin' every minute
Rockin' to the beat, so
Baby stomp your feet, yeah
[Verse 2]
I don't wanna be
So simple and predictable
I don't wanna be
So ordinary, typical
We made headlines
In the punk rock seats
We wore our hearts
On our acid-washed jeans, yeah
I just wanna keep it real, no subliminal
I just wanna take a chance
And be original
We screamed as loud
As The New York Times
We shined as bright
As the neon signs
[Chorus]
One, two
Now we got the gloves off
Three, four
Show us what you're made of
Get up off your seat, 'cause
All this talk is cheap, yeah
One, two
Now we got the rhythm
Three, four
We lovin' every minute
Rockin' to the beat, so
Baby stomp your feet, yeah
[Bridge]
Fist pumps
Leather jackets
Fist pumps
Sew your patches
Fist pumps
'Cause we go to eleven
Fist pumps
Like it's 1987
[Chorus]
One, two
Now we got the gloves off
Three, four
Show us what you're made of
Get up off your seat, 'cause
All this talk is cheap, yeah
One, two
Now we got the rhythm
Three, four
We lovin' every minute
Rockin' to the beat, so
Baby stomp your feet, yeah
