Good Evening Lyrics by The Philharmonik

Good People EP

2016

[Intro]
Good evening, good evening
Good evening, good evening
Good evening ladies and gentlemen; boys and girls
For all those listening to this feature presentation
[Verse 1]
Mum's pressuring me to go back to college
When I’m sitting here stressin' how my music finna make profit
Those bottles of hypnotic I prolly shouldn't have copped it
Should have asked that woman to San Fran
To see Mike [?] and Thomas (Uh)
If I make music I know the people will listen
Just to give you all a glimpse of how I’ve really been living (Uh)
It's Stevie Wonders blinded by superstition
When I reach a higher ground that I sign, seal and deliver
I'm yours, girl I hope you will be my cherry or more
Taking trips around the globe like she doing a world tour
Travelling to continents that I hope one day I can afford
But until that time comes girl you inspire me to do more (Uh)
You keep me wondering what are you single for
It's not like you need a man 'cause you do it all on your own, but
Your sacred beauty just forces me to applause
Girl you deserve nothing less than a diamond ring and applause
[Hook]
Good evening (Good evening)
Good evening (Good evening)
Good evening (Good evening)
Good evening, tell me when are you leaving?
Mind if I take you home?
'Cause I rather you not be alone
Good evening, mind if I take you home?
I've had too many shots of Patrón
But I would rather not be alone
(Good evening)
[Verse 2]
Am I common if I do it for the people
And rock the mic on the stage so they think that I'm Beanie Sigel
A couple songs in and they already want a sequel
It’s like my life is a movie they got me feeling so regal
There’s more to life than the money, fame and the fashion
I'm aiming to change the world in resemblance to Eric Clapton
I’m in the studio making this shit happen
Expressing all of my talents these niggas couldn't fathom
I'm on a world tour with Elwood my man
After each and every show we gotta load up the van
We sitting on so much bread that we hope it don't stale
Why you niggas is mirco-soft when you see us excel (Uh)
When they see me blow up I know they gone ask for favours
It’s not like they want a bill unless you bring up the paper
My middle finger's up to all of my naysayers
I'll treat you like Aubrey Graham when I tell you to take care
I'm gone
[Outro]
Good evening (Good evening)
Good evening (Good evening)
Good evening
