Been There, Done That Lyrics by The Plastic Smile

Hearts & Souls / Flesh & Bones

2021

Been around for eighteen years
Someone could assume
That we know not what we do
The sad truth is we´re fuckin up
We just didn´t split
Cause we´re too lame to pull it through
In an ever changing szene
We´re still playing the same shit
And we´re not even good at it, no
This won´t get any better
But you can´t take it away
And there ain´t nothing else to say about that
We never were the next big thing
We´ll never be
This is just our way of life
Always more than an ideal
This is not about resignation
We just don´t care
And for your ambitious plans
We have been there, done that, seen that, fuck that!
This won´t get any better
But you can´t take it away
And there ain´t nothing else to say about that
You can never take from me
Imprinted in my memory
All these years
We want it to be this way
There is nothing more to say
And nothing less
This won´t get any better
You can´t take it away
And there ain´t nothing else to say about that
This won´t get any better
But you can´t take it from me
And I have nothing more to say about that
