I Tweet Guilty Lyrics by The Roses (USA)

0

When I think of a rose
I think that it’s won't to tame, but that’s not the name I chose
I wish I were as pretty as I want to be
Like my old violet skies
Despite responsibility, I have quite the proclivity to rise
Why’s everyone so privy on what not to be
For there’s a right time to be lonely
And there’s a right time to lose trust
It cannot happen to you only
Though you innately feel it must
If there’s a strong hand on your worries
That leaves the wrong hand on your heart
I won’t let peasantry defer me
I’ll opt for pleasantries and art
When i think of a life
I think of the time it takes to satiate its strife
And what’s the point when I always start over
Things that I overcame
Don’t vanish in the haze when every day’s the same
And my independence has no closure
Why must the night time be so urgent
Why must the night time be so young
Why is it when thoughts are emergent
We’re subtly urged to hold our tongue
Look at the darkness in our vision
Look at the curtness in my eye
It makes me think of the division
Between the body and the mind
