Garbage Day (Live) Lyrics by The Spudmonsters

Stop the Madness

0

[Pre-Song: Spoken]
It's garbage night!
[Verse 1]
Tomorrow, it's garbage day
It smells pretty ripe around here
Somebody better take out the trash
Before it stinks up this whole place
[Pre-Chorus 1]
Take out the trash!
No matter what!
[Pre-Chorus 2]
Coffee grounds, cigarette butts
Orange peels, coconuts
Fuzzy grapes, cans of beans
Poison sprays, Vaseline
[Chorus]
In the freezing cold
In the dead of night
Nothing else matters
It's garbage night!
[Verse 2]
It's that time of the week again
And look at all the piles of rubbish
You have piled up around here
I'm certainly not taking it out!
[Pre-Chorus 1]
Takе out the trash!
No matter what!
[Pre-Chorus 2]
Eggshells rotting in thе air
Moldy bread, the clumps of hair
Stepped in dog shit, candied yams
Chips, dips, rotten Spam
[Chorus]
In the freezing cold
In the dead of night
Nothing else matters
It's garbage night!
[Solo]
[Bridge: Spoken]
And so, it's garbage night
Cruising down the freeway
With a carload full of garbage
Fast-food wrappers, beer cans
Remember, Cleveland:
It's your city, too!
[Pre-Chorus 1]
Take out the trash!
No matter what!
[Pre-Chorus 2]
Moldy tube steaks, monthly bills
Science projects, pots of swill
Growing beer cans, bloody rags
Who's gonna take these garbage bags?
[Chorus]
In the freezing cold
In the dead of night
Nothing else matters
(It's garbage night!)
[Post-Song: Spoken]
All right
