P.S. (The Unfinished Letter) Lyrics by The Sylvers

Concept

0

You return from your trip very tired
You slept as I unpack your suitcase
Found a letter
Addressed to me but never received
(And the words)
You wrote were filled with such pain
(Oh, how you struggle to explain)
Why you believe our feelings changed
You never really say
Whether it's too late
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Gave me a second chance
(P.S.) the unfinshed letter
Put our love back in my hands
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Fate has led me to this letter
So I must face the truth
And somehow make things better
I never wanted pain in our lives
This letter's helped me so much to see
(All of the things I've failed to be)
Why was it never sent to me?
Baby, if you're not sure
Leave it incomplete
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Gave me a second chance
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Put our love back in my hands
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Will bring us back together for love
Ooh
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Gave us a second chance at love
(P.S.)
This time I'll make it better
'Cause I never giving up
No, no, baby
Now I understand (P.S.)
Why you didn't show me
You weren't too sure about leaving me
Were you, baby?
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
Will keep you and I together
Ooo-oooh, baby
We'll be together
(P.S.)
The unfinished letter
(P.S.)
Ooo-oooh
Never complete the letter
(P.S. ooh, ooh)
