Looking For Faces Lyrics by The Vices

2021

[Verse 1]
We knew we were both trouble
But at least I was still mine
A consequence of self-defence
My heart was on the line
Looking for love on the faces of the people on the street
I'll share until we meet
And then deny we ever met
The right feels wrong the left feels right
We need to make a bet
Looking for love on the faces of thе people on the street
(Oh, I feel)
I fеlt it in my face
A collage of the past
Sat with my own signature
I tried to make it last
I was looking for love on your f-f-f-f-face
[Chorus]
And I feel like looking
I feel like, look what you found
Oh, I feel like looking
I feel we're looking for faces, oh
[Verse 2]
Surrounded by strangers
Not sure who I am, too
My walls protect the things of which
I'm not sure [?]
There's a puddle on the streets
And the streets have bent my knees
And the walls can talk, and talk, and talk
[Pre-Chorus]
I feel it, my face is becoming less faded
I feel it, my face is becoming less faded
I know we're all trouble
But at least we're not in line
I feel it, my face is becoming less faded
(Oh, I feel)
[Chorus]
And I feel like looking
I feel like, look what you found
Oh, I feel like looking
I feel we're looking for faces
Oh, I feel like looking
I feel like, look what you found
Oh, I feel like looking
I feel we're looking for faces, oh yeah
[Outro]
Try to make it better
Talking 'bout the weather
Heartfelt intuition
[?] 'till we fit in
[?] to the soil
Double-faced, be loyal
Heartfelt intuition
[?] 'till I fit in
