Better Than Before Lyrics by The Wrong Trousers

One and Counting...

0

I do apologize
For the words and songs before
I'm sorry, sorry, sorry my dear
Now let's take the time
To stroll in the grass
And relive to redo last year
I trip by the creek
You miss
And quick on the cheek
A kiss
Mmm la la la
January, February, March and then spring
Close your eyes and smell the air, what a feeling
April, May, June, July and August so sweet sweet
The words and songs I do
I do them all for you
Even though you hear the music first
I'm willing to ignore
The fact that we don't have more
'Cause when I look at you, oh you, you, you
You fall in the creek
We laugh together
The air can dry to off
'Cause it's such nice weather
Mmm la la la
January, February, March and then spring
Close your eyes and smell the air, what a feeling
April, May, June, July and August so sweet sweet
Listen to me
Just listen to me
Life is more than what you choose to be
Take my hand and you'll see
We fall in the creek
We're both immersed
You know I pulled you in
'Cause I fell in first
Mmm la la la
January, February, March and then spring
Close your eyes and smell the air, what a feeling
April, May, June, July and August so sweet sweet
Yeah sweet, oh sweet
