This Here Lyrics by Thekidd

Obnoxious

2019

[Verse 1]
This here for OJ and all of my people who never changed up and was real from the jump
This for my family and if my momma called you cousin don’t mean you can claim me as blood
This for my team that I met throughout living who never abandoned me and showed me love
This here for Pops, Sy, and Fefe, Auntie Mary and Mrs. Bloom looking down from above
This for my teachers who never gave up on me so they made me never give up on school
This for my niggas who tryna come home and my niggas who ain’t coming home no time soon
This for Alani who gave me that something that made me leave earth and go straight to the moon
This for the music we got coming later cause this shit a banger but all our shit booms
But aye
[Pre-Hook]
Lemme tell you something bout this here
Something got me feeling good bout this year
Same lane but a youngin had to switch gears
And I’ma make shit clear
[Hook 1]
Nigga this shit bang
This shit bang (x8)
[Pre-Hook]
But lemme tell you something bout this here
Something got me feeling good bout this year
Same lane but a youngin had to switch gears
And I’ma make shit clear
[Hook 2]
Nigga this shit bang
This shit bang (x8)
Man this shit bang
[Verse 2]
This for my kids that I’ll have in the future I pray you look up to me and make me proud
This for people who saw me as human when some people saw the one black guy around
This for the people who stopped me from crying cause with my depression a nigga might drown
This for the niggas who keep it 100 when other niggas looked at me like a clown
This for the struggles, mistakes, and uncertainties that shaped me into the man I am now
This for my brethren from the 207 that I met in Athens while staying in Skow
This for St. Mary’s cause I cannot fuck with my county so I do this shit for my town
This for my grandma who never gave up on me when others gave up on me as a child
This for the nights where I slept on the floor and for other nights when I didn’t sleep at all
This for the niggas who told me that I'd never make it because I didn’t have the balls
This for my people who talked to me kept my head straight when a nigga had no one to call
Swear when we make it we’re taking every chance we get while we’re living
We’ll have it all
But aye
[Pre-Hook]
Lemme tell you something bout this here
Something got me feeling good bout this year
Same lane but a youngin had to switch gears
And I’ma make shit clear
[Hook 1]
Nigga this shit bang
This shit bang (x8)
[Pre-Hook]
But lemme tell you something bout this here
Something got me feeling good bout this year
Same lane just a youngin has to switch gears
And I’ma make shit clear
[Hook]
Nigga this shit bang
This shit bang (x6)
[Verse 3]
AAAYOOOO
And I’m out here screaming WHOA WHOA WHOA in this bitch like I’m lost
Screaming FUCK A CEO
I’m my own fucking boss
I’m gone have so many racks
I ain’t worried bout a cost
All these niggas say they got the juice but I got the sauce
So
I guess that’s why they’re mad at me
Because they’re tryna switch teams like a bandwagon
But I could never let another nigga swagger jack me
Because I got the secret formula that’s Krabby Patty’s
So I ain’t find a new lane cause I’ve claimed mine
I’m always tryna work never break time
I work as hard as I go in
Let me say that shit again
I be like WHOA WHOA WHOA in this bitch like I’m lost
Screaming FUCK A CEO
I’m my own fucking boss
I’m gone have so many racks
I ain’t worried bout a cost
ItsTheKidd on the beat
I slid this shit now I’m off
