Forgot about Pete Lyrics by THePETEBOX

Songs from the Vaults

2016

[Verse]
I found myself standing there at the crossroads
How I got here nobody knows
But a storm is brewin' and the time is comin'
I can feel my mind race to the line I'm runnin'
You're there but I ain't scared
Got my wits about me and I've come prepared
With my pen in my hand I got my master plan
Cause if I get this all down I got the upper hand
I see you, the dark side of me
Every day trynna' take the best of me
Every way fightin' with the rest of me
And if I let you be you'll be the death of me
But fuck that, I ain't havin' that
Cause this is my life, I'm gonna take it back
I spent too many years in this circus act
Now I'm ready to fight, you gotta face the fact that
[Chorus]
Nowadays everybody wanna talk
Like they've got somethin' to say but nothin' comes out
When they move their lips, it's just a bunch of gibberish
The motherfuckers act like they forgot about Dre
Nowadays everybody wanna talk
Like they've got somethin' to say but nothin' comes out
When they move their lips, it's just a bunch of gibberish
The motherfuckers act like they forgot about Dre
