About the Light that Hits the Forest Floor Lyrics by Tim Bowness

Butterfly Mind

2022

In love
You knew it was love
New, it was love
It was the light that hit the forest floor
In love
You knew it was love
New. it was love
It was the fight that made you hope for more
Laugh it off
You can't laugh it off
Shake it off
You can't shake it off
These moments are real
In love
You were more than yourself
So much more than yourself -
Became the shield, became the anchor
In love
You were more than yourself
So much more than yourself -
You found your voice, you lost your anger
Laugh it off
You can't laugh it off
Shake it off
You can't shake it off
The moment is near
You'll find your comforts
Where you can -
A childish urge
No master plan
Just the need to keep escaping
