How the “Futsal Shuffle 2020” Music Video Promises New Uzi Lyrics by tonymontana

Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert, known for his continuous disputes with his label concerning music releases and consistent album delays, may be teasing a brighter 2020 with the new releasing of his "Futsal Shuffle 2020" music video. The drop came just 13 days after Uzi tweeted out "WE GONNA TREAT 2020 LIKE 2016 ++®️ 🙄🔥", igniting excitement for his fans with the prospect of new music, as 2016 was when Uzi released classic mixtapes like Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World and The Perfect LUV Tape. Here's how it all connects:
The music video for "Futsal Shuffle 2020", which recently charted at #5 atop the Billboard Hot 100, features Uzi perfecting his dance moves with a couple of friends. Uzi is dressed for the occasion, wearing some of the exclusive brands which he has bragged about in his lyrics, but notably, his Rihanna merchandise stands out. He sports clothing from a handful of different albums, notably 2010's Loud and 2016's ANTi. Uzi has attempted to get the attention of Riri before, but has never quite found success, although he follows her on Instagram at the time of the videos release. While this could be an chance at setting up a relationship, it most likely alludes to his original Tweet---the claim to make 2020 into the next 2016.
Lets back up a little bit, how are these related at all? Lil Uzi Vert probably likes Rihanna's music and nothing more. Well, in the current state of Uzi's label disputes, any theory is a likely one. The most interesting part about the "Futsal Shuffle 2020" music video isn't even the amazing song, it is it's striking resemblance to Lil Uzi's outfit in the "XXL Freshmen 2016 Cypher - Part 2" video. In both videos, Uzi dons ANTi merch (an album also released in 2016), dances around, and has a blast with the other people onstage. Take a look:

This is the confirmation Uzi fans needed for 2020---a direct reference to one of his older performances, thus verifying his claims to "treat 2020 like 2016". Paired with the four ominous posts on Lil Uzi's Instagram, it is safe to assume that Eternal Atake might be coming sooner than previously thought.
