I’ve been learning how to be courteous with my wordiness
I mix the pain and love with the paint and brush, put my trust in my art

There’s things I can’t discuss but that’s the way it was from the start
That shit did a number on my mental, damn
Had a talk with god, he held me close with his gentle hands
He told me “I can see the potential in your pencil, man”
Pulling wisdom from your mouth like a dentist can
I know he can see the pain in my eyes
Didn’t even get to say my goodbyes
Negative thoughts in my brain been decaying my mind
I pray to the skies, hopefully it delays my demise, yeah
